Maiara Criswell

Maiara was born into the Criswell family, well-known nobles for trading and creating finery. The Criswells are not only very well off, but well respected. She had a very supportive upbringing, high education, and a strong familial bond until she was about 10. Around her 10th birthday, her first set of horns began to grow. Knowing this would greatly upset her father, her mother tried to conceal them by filing them down as they grew. However, a year later (at age 11), when her second pair of horns began to grow, it was quite apparent to her father.

After her family fell apart due to the scandal of a tiefling being born to elven parents, her mother disappeared and Maia was moved to only have access to her bedroom. The windows were almost entirely covered, and she had little to do other than read or learn games to play on her own. During her 4 years of incarceration, her father remarried (a widow) and took in two other (noble) children. With this, she thought she would be barred from the outside world forever…

Basics/Appearance ~

Race: Tiefling

Age: 22, Height: 5’8”, Weight: 130

Skin: dark gray/silverish with a purple tint

Hair: long and black (slightly wavy & disheveled), a streak of silver

Eye Color: Very Light Silver

Tail: moderately slim with a jagged/frayed tip

Horns [Jeweled]: 1st Pair - S shape, slightly curved down, fuller, and seemingly fully grown; 2nd Pair - curl upwards, smaller, almost as if they’ve been filed down or their growth was stunted

Misc: 

• Slightly elven body type, slender and graceful, but still has rougher tiefling traits

• She has several scars

• Scars on her ankles from being shackled by her father and an array of scars from Riva’s experiments.

Outfits:

• Baggy white tunic (worn, maybe torn), thin white pants
